Inevitably, what we do has an impact on the environment. We’re working to ensure that impact is a positive one. To make our environmental work clear, we’ve broken it down into ‘The products we supply’ and ‘The way we work.’

The products we supply – eco-friendly tapes and adhesives

Given that our work involves solvent-based products, you might think there’s little we can do to improve the environmental credentials of what we do. As a leader in adhesives and bondings, we believe it’s our duty to think otherwise.

That’s why we’ve introduced eco-friendly tapes and adhesives which include:

• The dichloromethane-free NovaSol NC range of plastic welding adhesives
• Solvent-free NovaBond XS high strength bonding tapes

We’re working to do more by influencing our suppliers and manufacturers, encouraging them to reduce the environmental impact of what they produce and the way they produce it.

The way we work

We’re committed to reducing the environmental impact of the way we work. That’s not only because it’s the right thing to do. It’s because, when you’re expected to meet environmental standards, you should expect no less from your suppliers. We will:

• Comply with current legislation and, where we can, meet future requirements ahead of the deadline
• Make environmental considerations a part of day to day operations for the entire Innova Solutions team
• Utilise energy saving lighting and heating
• Minimise waste by recycling as much waste and cardboard as possible, and by reusing packaging where appropriate. All office paper is recycled
• Produce electronic versions of product literature
• Review our environmental performance annually

We’re continually working to develop our adhesive and bonding materials to balance performance with environmental considerations.

That’s why the NovaSol NC range of plastic welding adhesives is dichloromethane free.

It’s also why our NovaBond XS high strength bonding tapes are solvent free.
