News - Innova Solutions Return to The Colne Super Soapbox Race for 2024!

We are thrilled to announce that we will once again be taking part in the The Colne Super Soapbox Race on Sunday, June 30th, 2024, to raise money for our chosen charity partner for a second year in a row – Colne Open Door Centre!

The Colne Open Door Centre is a brilliant charity that provides crucial support services to those in our local community of Colne who are in need. Started in 2000, they have been offering a wide range of support services to our community for over 20 years, including counselling, emergency food parcels, citizens’ advice, therapy sessions, and much more to individuals and families in need.

After the success (and fun!) we had last year, we have once again crafted our very own Innova Speed Machine and will be donning fancy dress costumes for the race. We’re also delighted that our very own Joe Lacey is returning as our driver this year! Our team is ready to take on the challenge, and we are delighted to see Innova supporting such a fantastic cause that does such wonderful things to support our local community.

Supporting our local community is so important to us here at Innova Solutions. Although we ship products across the globe, Colne is our home: it’s where we started, where we continue to be based, and where many of our valued Innova family, past and present, live. Read more on other ways we’ve supported Colne here. If you would like to show your support for our Tacky Races team and the Open Door Centre, please consider making a donation to our JustGiving page. Every penny of your donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly to the Open Door Centre and help them continue their vital work. We’ll be sharing more updates on social media in the lead-up to the big race and we hope to see you there cheering us on as we race towards the finish line! 🏎️💨
