Having boasted aspiring authors from within our ranks, the latest Innova employee to develop dual business interests is part-time accounts administrator Samantha.

Samantha has finished converting and just opened The Croft Cottage, Trawden which is set in a high moorland location, with fabulous views. The Croft is a beautiful, stone built, former farm building located in Trawden Forest on the outskirts of Trawden village. Just 5 miles from Wycoller village & country park and 10 miles from Skipton and Haworth it is right on Innova’s doorstep and visible from the office across the valley!

Sam explains….

“I have worked for Innova Solutions for approximately three and a half years now in Credit Control. When I first started working there I was truly inspired by their professionalism and positive approach. They made me feel valued and appreciated.

“I lacked confidence and felt completely out of my comfort zone to begin with, but Innova supported me in every which way and provided funding to enable me to carry out some local courses to further develop and learn new skills, subsequently my confidence has grown significantly and I can work much more effectively within my role.

“I work part-time due to being a Mum, Housewife, running my own Self Catering Holiday Cottage and caring for my elderly mother. Innova have been very supportive and amenable as juggling all of the above can be quite a challenge at times.

“Since I have this new found confidence, my husband and I decided to convert an old building/stables into a luxury 2 bedroom holiday cottage. As you can imagine there are many regulations that have to be adhered to. Since we are located in an Conservation area ‘Trawden Forest’ I had to apply to the Town & County Planning and Highways Department’s at Pendle District Council for approval, as we were required to display some effective signage (reflective directional – as we are off the beaten track) and (hazard warning safety signage- for the use of the Hot Tub)…strong enough to withstand severe weather conditions.
