As part of Innova Solutions’ plans to grow and expand, we are delighted to announce that we’ve received a grant from the Rural Development Programme for England seeing us gain 50% (£73,497) of the £146,994 development costs for our brand new warehouse facility; this means that the new facility will be part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.
The project will involve demolition of an existing agricultural structure, and replacing this with a purpose built, part concrete block, part insulation-cladded building, suitable for warehousing and satisfying current building regulations. The warehouse will be completed with the installation of lighting and racking and finished to a ready to use state.
Once complete, the warehouse facility will house stocks of tapes and adhesives sourced from the UK, Europe and worldwide. Having two warehouses located together will eliminate unnecessary transport costs, improve the economies of scale and reduce pollution. Further to our green future, part of the warehouse will eventually house a biomass heating system which will generate heating and hot water across the whole site.
The growth of our business will mean that up to 5 jobs will be created in the local area within the next 3-4 years. We hope to employ from within the youth market, offering apprenticeship schemes to school leavers and provide the opportunity for graduates to join a dynamic young business.
