Following last week’s FAQ’s..……..a recurring theme was, ‘How do we use your photoluminescent laminating films and rigids’?

Here’s an overview regarding the merits and of how each product can be used….

Self-Adhesive Laminating Film

Our latest photoluminescent technology, Glo-Brite® 520 & 550 self-adhesive laminating films can be applied to any clean and smooth surface to protect and ‘make photoluminescent’ any ‘reverse-printed’ graphics on a clear substrate.

Simply, remove liner and apply the self-adhesive laminate to the rear of your sign, over the reverse-printed graphics.

For best results use a laminator and apply even pressure to avoid trapping any air bubbles.

Creating glow in the dark signage is easier with photoluminescent laminating film. Because the photoluminescence comes from the adhesive in the laminate, you utilise the flexibility of substrate, graphics and printing techniques.

Apply Jessup Glo-Brite® 520 or 550 pressure sensitive, glow in the dark film to the rear of any clear substrate, and your sign becomes photoluminescent.

Self – Adhesive and Rigid Photoluminescent

Manufactured by casting/lamination – the pigments are compounded in to the polymer formulations to achieve the thermo-plastic and thermo-set flexible films or rigid substrates. The 7500 range are laminated films with a permanent, acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive, backed by a poly-coated release liner  for direct print techniques such as digital and screen.

Our customers then have full capabilities to produce any customisation for safety signs, labels, egress markers etc. in order to reduce liability and better protect people from harm.

Direct Printing Methods

Easy printing……Digital, Screen; Solvent, Eco-solvent, UV, LED cure…..whatever inks you choose, and however you print them, our Glo-Brite® 7500 range offers exceptional ink adhesion properties. The HD print surface technology assure the print definition is excellent with crisp edges, precise imaging, sharp colours and consistent colour density.
