News - Lancashire business takes flight and fight for charity

Our Financial & Strategic Director, Linda Barrowclough, has announced that she will be taking to the skies over Lancaster and completing a tandem skydive on Sunday 17th June with her twin sister, Julie.

Financial & Strategic Director, Linda, will ‘Jump in June’ from 10,000ft with a freefall down to 5,000ft at 120 mph, in support of the MS Trust. The trust’s work focuses on forward-thinking projects which are delivering positive change in Multiple Sclerosis care by bringing key members of the MS community together, ensuring that no one has to face the condition alone.

With momentum continuing to build, Linda looks set to smash her target of £1,395 with the fundraising campaign amount already reaching 98% of its target so far with 4 days to go.

Linda said; “In January this year I made a commitment that 2018 would be the year that I jump. But I also have very personal reasons why I’m taking part.

“Last year I had a family member diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, so I have first-hand experience of the support that the MS trust gives to people diagnosed with the disease, and an insight into the incredible work they do.”

You can support Linda and the MS Trust by donating through Virgin Money Giving. All donations go straight to the charity and make a huge difference – however little or large. Please visit: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LindaBarrowclough
